Jim Darwin

Sorry to report that Jim Darwin, ex Gatow and Celle, died on the 5th of September. (The following is a re-post from Kerry Burke on Facebook) An update from Helen, although they have been parted for a while she sent me this about Jim: Jim’s sister contacted me through Jim’s facebook to let me know. He was diagnosed with cancer 2 years ago. It spread to the brain about 3 weeks ago and he passed away on 05 Sep12. The last time I heard from him, he was getting re-married – that was about 2 years ago I think. I saw some of the pictures on facebook.
They looked so happy. I am in shock still – can’t believe it. Poor old Jim. May he rest in peace. ............... Really Sad, great memories of him, esp from 54SU, the perpetual teenager was old Jim!
