Roy Adsley.
More sad news I’m afraid - the following is a copy of a message received from Alan Robson regarding the passing of Roy Adsley yesterday morning:
“I have just been informed that one of our members, Roy ('Taff') Adsley
died this morning at a care home close to where he lived in Poole, Dorset.
He has had a degenerative illness for a couple of years now and
succumbed this morning.
Taff was a member of No 4L1 course at North Luffenham from 1965-66 which is where I first got to know him. He did one tour in Berlin then left
the RAF at the end of a five year tour. He was one of about ten
ex-members of 4L1 who used to have an annual reunion to which I also
attended for the last 10 years.
He was a jovial, funny man and had a long happy marriage to Sue. We will
miss him.”
RIP Roy
