Heather and I are sorry to hear of Harry's passing. I can still hear him calling me "Rolls" and it only seems like yesterday when we strode to the Waldhutte with Barry Hoper for a bevvy or six before catching the early military train to Braunschweig for the day. He was such an outstanding German speaker - Germans would not believe he was not German. The world is a sadder place without him. Our thoughts are with Jo, Paul and Neil at this sad time.

"It is with great sadness that I am letting RAFLing members know that Harry Woods passed away last Sunday (2 Feb 2020) following a short illness. When I visited Jo this morning she asked me to make this statement and to advise that the family have announced the funeral arrangements are for 2.30pm on Thursday 27 February at Cheltenham crematorium. RIP Harry, a great friend and former RAF and HQ colleague."
