Best wishes to the new committee

Wednesday's lunch at the Toft hotel, Lincolnshire, was greatly enjoyed by all who attended. The AGM which followed resulted in the election of a new committee. One member of the previous committee was re-elected: Mike Hancock is staying on as membership secretary. I wish the new committee every success in its endeavours and I know that my successor as chairman, Neil Pickles, and his colleagues will do an excellent job on behalf of Rafling members.

It was a great privilege to work with my colleagues on the outgoing committee - Dave Haysom, Al Robson, Ian Gronbach and Mike Hancock - and I hope those who have stepped down will enjoy their thoroughly deserved rest from the hard work and the expenditure of the enormous amount of time that they devoted so effectively to the Association's continued success.
