Sad News - Jim Pembury

This will be held on 16th July, 2011 at the George Hotel, Huntingdon. Ben (Jim’s son) has tried to pick a day when the shift workers from Jim’s old shift will be able to attend and “A” shift, which he believes are on earlies, will be able to pop down or come along after the shift. The room is booked from 1300 to 1700 (times flexible). The room holds 150 max. Dress very relaxed!

Just heard the sad news about Jim- what a shock. There are more messages etc. on Jim's Facebook page - it seems he suffered a massive heart attack while out cycling with a friend.

Have just heard that Jim Pembury died in the early hours of today 22 Jan 2011. He retired from the control room at Cambridgeshire Constabulary HQ in October and moved to Cyprus. News has just come through of his passing. No other details known as yet.
