Dear All,

Apologies for using this mass email mode to pass on this sad news - however it is an efficient method to reach many of our dad's friends and colleagues, especially those in the field of athletics (there are a lot of you!), but also those from his RAF days and local friends.

We are aware that news travels fast, but if this is the first you have heard of this news, please accept our sincere applogies that you have not received it in a more personal way.

It is with regret that we announce the death of our dad, Roy Kissack. He passed away on Friday 16th October at Lincoln County Hospital.

As a family we are very keenly aware of his love for athletics and it has certainly been a drive and motivating factor since he became involved, but especialy since his illness of 2005. His love of the aircraft, the RAF, badminton and a pint or two have also given him a rich circle of friends.

There is a little more information here http://roy.kissack.co.uk and we will update that daily as news becomes available.

regards

Allan Kissack

PS there will be people we have unable to have obtain emails or other contact details for, so please feel free to pass this sad news to those who knew Roy as a friend and colleague.
